It is the policy of the Grant Parish School Board that no person in this district shall, on the basis of handicap, or of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, or national origin be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination in any education program or activity.  This includes employment, retention, and promotion.


The Superintendent shall designate a member of the staff to investigate any and all complaints which may be brought against the parish in regard to any alleged discriminatory action.  The name, address, and telephone number of the designee shall be publicized accordingly.  Grievance procedures shall be promulgated to support the intent of this policy.
